Three Tree’s Camp Site

Situated in the heart of Hampshire, this quiet campsite is surrounded by scenic woodland walks and popular heritage sites. Within walking distance, you can explore the 1000 acres of Ampfield Woods, eat at the delicious White Horse pub or catch the bus (right outside) into the historic towns of Romsey or Winchester. We are also just a short 2-minute drive from the beautiful Hillier’s arboretum or a 15-minute drive to the coveted New Forest National Park.

The campsite itself is well-maintained, encompassed in woods, with a host of facilities available for our campers to use. We offer a variety of large hard standing and grass pitches with water and electric hookups available.

Walks
There are a host of things to do on the doorstep of the campsite. Ampfield Woods, Baddesley Common (with wild horses) and Emer Bog are all within very short walking distance and are perfect for a scenic walk. Hillier’s arboretum and cafe are also a 2-minute drive away, offering an amazing day out all year round. Romsey is also lovely to walk around with the Abbey and the memorial park. Walking around Winchester, you can explore its rich history with areas still standing from the Roman rule in the 3rd century AD.

Food
5 minutes’ walk from the campsite is a lovely pub, the White Horse, with amazing food and Café Binghams that offers breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. If you wish to venture slightly further away, Romsey is an hour walk or short bus journey and has a variety of lovely restaurants and cafes. Winchester is also 15 minutes away and have amazing independent cafes, restaurants and shops.

Further Away
Three Trees Campsite is 4 miles away from the M3 and is very commutable to Winchester, Southampton and Portsmouth. It is also close to Romsey (3 miles) and Winchester (8 miles) train stations which have quick routes to Salisbury, Portsmouth, Bournemouth and London. The Number 66 bus stop is right outside the campsite entrance which makes it very easy to get into Romsey or Winchester.
